Provo River Guide Service is one of few outfitters to hold a fly fishing permit on the upper Green River, below the Fontanelle Reservoir. This remote piece of water is a short two hour drive from Park City, UT. If it is big, hard fighting trout you are after, this is the place! We offer both float and walk and wade trips on this section of water. This is not a year around fishery due to seasonal unhealthy water temperatures. Prime dates are March- July and mid September- mid November. The upper Green is an amazing fishery for rainbows, cutthroat, and brown trout all in the 16-23 inch range. The upper is a fishery better suited for the more experienced angler and with a limited season we highly recommend booking your trip in advance.
