MIDDLE PROVO RIVER

Conveniently located 15-20 minutes southeast of Park City Utah, the Middle Provo River flows some 10 miles through the spectacular Heber Valley, between the Jordanelle and Deer Creek Reservoirs. A blue ribbon fishery, the Middle is considered one of the finest tailwaters in Utah, with consistent water temperatures, an abundance of aquatic life with year-round hatches, and a fish population exceeding 3000 per mile. These are primarily brown trout, as well as mountain whitefish, sized 12-18 inches.  With seven public access points and views of Mount Timpanogos and the Wasatch Range, the Middle can thrill every skill level, from beginner to expert.
